Project Scope
Project scope refers to the agreed pages, screens, features, integrations, functionality and deliverables included in a project.
Work requested outside the agreed scope may require additional time, pricing or a revised quotation.
A request that changes the underlying functionality, design direction or architecture of a project may be treated as additional scope rather than a normal revision.
Payments
Payment structure, milestones and due dates may vary depending on the project and will be communicated before or during project confirmation.
Development may be scheduled or started after any agreed initial payment or project confirmation requirement has been completed.
Where a project is divided into milestones, further work may depend on completion of the previous agreed milestone or payment.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing information and materials reasonably required to complete their project.
This may include:
- Business information
- Logo and branding materials
- Text and service information
- Product information
- Images or media
- Required account access
- Domain or hosting information
- Timely project feedback
Delays in receiving required content, access or approval may affect the project timeline.
Revisions & Changes
Reasonable revisions may be included according to the specific project agreement.
A revision generally means adjusting existing agreed work. Requests for new pages, significant redesigns, new functionality or additional systems may be considered additional project scope.
Project Timelines
Any estimated completion date is based on the known project scope, required resources and expected communication at the time the estimate is provided.
Timelines may change if the project scope changes or required content, feedback, approvals, access or third-party services are delayed.
Third-Party Services
Projects may use third-party products or platforms such as:
- Domain registrars
- Hosting providers
- Cloud platforms
- Payment gateways
- Email services
- APIs
- Analytics platforms
- Maps or location services
- Messaging platforms
- External software libraries
Third-party services operate under their own terms, availability, pricing and policies.
Laxna Technologies does not control future pricing changes, outages, service discontinuation or policy changes made by third-party providers.
Client Content & Materials
Clients should provide only content, images, logos, trademarks, media and other materials that they are authorized to use.
The client is responsible for the accuracy, legality and permissions associated with materials supplied for use in their project.
Intellectual Property & Ownership
Ownership and handover conditions for custom project deliverables may be defined within the applicable quotation, proposal or written project agreement.
Third-party software, frameworks, libraries, fonts, APIs or other licensed components remain subject to their respective licenses.
Laxna Technologies branding, website design, website content and materials belonging specifically to Laxna Technologies may not be copied or represented as another business's property without permission.
Maintenance & Support
Development completion does not automatically mean unlimited future maintenance unless ongoing support is included in the project agreement.
Future updates, content changes, feature additions, integrations or technical maintenance may be quoted separately depending on the requirement.
Acceptable Website Use
Visitors must not intentionally misuse this website or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
Prohibited actions include:
- Attempting unauthorized access to website systems.
- Submitting malicious code.
- Abusing project or contact forms.
- Attempting to disrupt website availability or security.
- Using website content in a misleading or unauthorized manner.
Availability & Limitation
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website and delivered digital solutions operating correctly.
However, digital services can be affected by hosting providers, browsers, devices, internet services, third-party APIs, external platforms, security incidents or circumstances outside direct control.
Project-specific responsibilities and limitations may be further defined in the applicable project agreement.
Project Pause or Cancellation
A project may be paused or cancelled by either party depending on the circumstances and the applicable project agreement.
Any outstanding work, completed milestones, payments, deliverables or handover obligations should be handled according to the terms agreed for that specific project.
Changes to These Terms
Laxna Technologies may update these Terms when website functionality, services or business practices change.
The current version of the Terms will be made available on this page.
